Source photographs were made in Oman, including Wahiba Sands and Jebel Akhdar. The final works are generated from those photographs through software-based pattern extraction and reconstruction.

Made in 2023, at the threshold of generative image-making, the work presses a question the moment had just made urgent — what is a photograph? When a machine can compose a picture from words alone, never opening a shutter or standing in a place, it weighs whether a photograph is defined by how it looks or by how it is made.
